If you have a LinkedIn profile , be sure to link to it in your "About Me" section as well. What interests should you include in your CV? There is no rule that says it is absolutely in your CV. You can skip this element and focus on the other elements of your CV. However, interests are quite valuable information for the recruiter. It is an outline of your personality and character, and therefore can be a solid basis for creating a first positive impression (at the very stage of analyzing your candidacy), and perhaps also establishing a relationship during a job interview.

When describing them, you can (but do not have to) refer to the position you are applying for. Examples ? Drawing stimulates my creativity, the excess of which I pour out on paper. ? I love traveling because thanks to it I gain new knowledge and develop on many levels.

Remember however, that too many interests may not necessarily be your advantage. This is very important when you are applying for a position where the employer requires high availability or work on weekends. On the other hand, by only briefly listing two general interests (e.g. painting, cycling) you may harm yourself when the offer you choose requires creativity and ingenuity. TIP Describe those activities that play a significant role in your life and those in which you can find yourself.
